The Twelve Commandments
CHAPTER 36
Lazarus returns to Egypt to do some more trading and announces his engagement; he wishes for Yochanan, Yeshua, Miriam, and their children to return with him. However, Yeshua says that he and Miriam must remain in Egypt, but Yochanan returns with Lazarus. Yeshua journeys frequently into the hills of the eastern desert, south of Memphis, to commune with his Heavenly Father and Mother, and he receives great revelations and understanding. It is on one such journey that he receives the Twelve Commandments of Sinai.
1 Yochanan decided to remain in Memphis with Yeshua and Miriam until God called him elsewhere. And Yeshua taught Yochanan some more of carpentry, and they created many fine things of wood, which they sold to the Egyptians.
2 Shortly after their arrival, they paid for a message to be carried in a caravan to Jerusalem that Miriam’s family might know of their whereabouts, and it came to pass that ten moons after they had come to Memphis, Lazarus arrived at their home, having returned with another caravan. And in this trip, he had twelve camels of trade goods and several servants with him.
3 They had a two-day feast to celebrate the arrival of Lazarus and to hear the news of Bethany, not the least of which was Lazarus’s announcement of his betrothal to Hannah, the daughter of Mordecai. And Miriam chided her younger brother in a playful way for having waited so long to marry.
4 Lazarus remained with them in Memphis for one moon and had very successful trading while there.
5 At the beginning of the new moon, he told them that he must return again to Bethany and asked them to return with him, for Miriam’s mother longed for her and her sister Martha also missed her greatly, and he wished for Yeshua and Yochanan to be at his wedding, which would take place as soon as he returned.
6 Yochanan felt moved by Elohim and agreed to return with Lazarus to Palestine, for he also desired a wife from among the tribe of Judah before he became an old man, and for that cause, he wished to call upon Martha, the sister of Miriam, and to see again his friends in the community of Gimron.
7 But Yeshua and Miriam remained in Memphis, and Yeshua said, “Our hearts and blessings go with you, but we must remain here for some seasons, for there is much still to learn and there are those who hunger for truth and light and we are the torchbearers.”
8 And it came to pass that Lazarus and Yochanan departed from Memphis, and Yeshua and Miriam and the children remained for the greater purposes of God.
9 Yeshua journeyed frequently into the wilderness in the hills of the eastern desert, south of Memphis, to commune with his Celestine Father and Mother. Before he had returned to Judea, Yochanan sometimes accompanied him, and other times Miriam went with him, but more often he was alone.
10 On some trips, he would travel to the top of a mountain overlooking the sea. Seeing the world expanding in vastness beyond the horizon in every direction helped him more easily feel one in spirit with all creation.
11 Marvelous revelations and understandings came to Yeshua in great clarity from Elohim the Father and Mother in the emptiness of the wilderness, away from the clutter of people and the creations of man.
12 It was here, atop a mountain of the desert sea that Yeshua asked his Father if he would give again to the choicest children of men the Twelve Commandments which he had given unto Moses, but which Moses had destroyed because of the weakness of men.
13 Yeshua implored his Father, saying, “I know these are sacred laws, which only the righteous can live and receive the blessings thereof. And for lack of righteousness among the people, they have been held in the realms of Celestine Light.
14 But in my sojourn upon Earth I have been blessed to be joined by some of the choicest of your spirit children. They are among the greatest of my brothers and sisters, sent here at this time to help bring forth the Celestine Light of truth. They are worthy to receive the higher laws and the greater blessings of heaven from obedience to the laws.”
15 Elohim the Father replied to Yeshua, saying, “My beloved son, you know that whatsoever you desire, I will do for you. Therefore, you may give to the choice Children of Light, who are your friends and family, the higher laws of heaven. But let them keep them unto themselves while they first prove capable to live the greater laws and receive the greater blessings.
16 If they prove worthy of this blessing, then the Twelve Commandments shall abide because of them through the time of spiritual gestation in the world, to be revealed again in the latter days unto the royal generation, which I have saved to come forth upon the world in its time of greatest need.
17 So it shall be that when the Children of Light of the royal generation read the words of the Twelve Commandments, the greatness of the higher laws shall resonate in their hearts, and the Holy Spirit will stir their souls, and they will know that it is they who have been called to come forth to the wonder of the world in the last days of the old epoch and the first of the new. The world will see the brilliant Celestine Light of the Elohim made manifest in them, and will know with sureness that the light of the Almighty is among them.”
18 Yeshua inscribed the words of the Twelve Commandments upon a scroll that his family and those who would become his Apostles might read them. But they remained unknown to the people of the world in the days of Yeshua and all the days that followed, until the time of the royal generation was upon the world.
19 Behold, rejoice and give thanks, for that time has come and this is the royal generation of which was spoken. This is the day blessed to have the pure Celestine Light of Elohim shine forth. Therefore, unto the chosen, those whose spirit persuades them to live the higher laws of God, herein are the Twelve Commandments of Elohim, given that the Children of Light might have fruitful and expansive relationships with God, with themselves, and with their brothers and sisters of light upon the world.
20 And these are the words that God speaks unto you who read these words, saying, “We are the Elohim, the Father, the Mother, and the Son, the Lord God Almighty, and by the power of our word, all that exists has been manifested.
21 Unto all who will receive it, we call you out of the world of darkness and give unto you a marvelous light.
22 And they who keep these commandments shall be blessed upon the earth and know us in their hearts and minds and moving upon their spirit.”
1 Thank Elohim for all of your blessings from the depths of your heart and, with purity of purpose, ask for your righteous needs, with humility and integrity, and they shall be manifested unto you within the purposes of God.
2 You shall neither worship, nor pray to, nor venerate, false gods or graven images, or men or governments or kings, or spirits or angels, or anything or anyone that is, except Elohim.
3 You shall not curse or swear at all, or use the name of Elohim in vain, in any form, but cultivate a sweet disposition, wherein a curse is alien to your spirit.
4 Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you may labor and do all of your work, but the seventh day is the day of Elohim. On that day, you shall not work, but gather together with the Children of Light that you might edify and uplift one another, and renew your covenants, and share knowledge of Elohim and of the paths of Celestine Light. Let this also be a day for the family to come together and commune with one another with full attention, to increase their bonds of fellowship and love. Let this also be a day to visit the temples of God: the mountains, the sea, the desert, the forests, and all the wonders Elohim has created for you; that you might reflect upon your journey, strengthen your family, and draw closer to the Celestine Light. And let this be a day of study and of prayer, of reflection and contemplation, of covenants, repentance, and recommitment, and of all wholesome things of rest and renewal, which uplift you and bring you closer to God and to your family.
5 You are a temple of God. Do not defile your temple inside or outside, but keep yourself clean and pure that the Celestine Light of Elohim may illuminate you.
6 You are an emissary of Elohim; strive to always be a worthy representative of the divine that others will see your good light and glorify God. Be humble in heart and rich in spirit. Do good deeds and be a peacemaker. Despise hypocrisy and a double tongue. Do not exalt yourself but give praise to others. Find the blessings in the trials that come upon you. Be slow to anger and quick to forgive. Be not joined with the haughty or arrogant, but befriend the righteous and the lowly. Judge not others and be tempered and balanced in your thoughts and actions. Do not raise your voice in unrighteous anger or instigate violence of word or deed. In all things, do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
7 You shall not covet, or be avaricious, or steal, or be dishonest, or take any unfair advantage of others; nor gather unto you wealth in the world beyond your needs. Give your excess for the building up of the kingdom of God and the Children of Light and store up for yourself treasures in Heaven, not on Earth.
8 You shall not commit fornication, or adultery, or in any way be a corrupter of youth.
9 Love your neighbors and your brothers and sisters of light, even in all of their faults, even as Elohim loves you despite your weaknesses. Do generous and thoughtful things for your fellow travelers on the journey of life, as you would have them do for you. Do not bear false witness against them, or slander them, or gossip about them with others. If you have a grievance, go and speak in peace and kindness with them, not anger.
10 Honor your father and your mother as they have honored you with their time and sacrifice and nurturing. Love them all of their days, and when they are old, care for them as they have cared for you.
11 You shall not maim or murder, wherein you shall not grievously injure or take the life of anyone, save it be in defense of mortal attack upon you or your family or your home. Nor shall you kill to eat as food any animal, or bird, or creature of the sea that is of warm blood or nurtures its young, save it be in times of famine or pestilence, when food is not found in the garden and the storeroom is empty. Nor shall you join yourself to armies that bring war to other lands, but only to defend against a destroyer upon your land, and then only after every way of honorable peace has failed. And if it be that you must take a life for any of these causes, you shall make your heart right again with God with fasting and prayer and have a spirit of love and peace before you enter again into the house of God.
12 Be a good and faithful steward of the Earth and with all of the creatures thereof. This beautiful world Elohim has given unto you that you might find all you have need of. Take the precious gift you have been given, protect it, magnify it, and pass on a greater gift to your posterity.”
