Communities of Light
CHAPTER 31
Yeshua speaks in great detail describing the growth and principles of the Communities of Light and how they shall be organized.
Yeshua perceived the change in the heart of Lazarus and was exceedingly glad, and he said unto him, “I feel your heartbeat in rhythm with mine, Lazarus; are we now then one in spirit?”
And in humility, Lazarus answered, “We are one, Yeshua.”
Yeshua smiled broadly and said unto him, “It is good, my brother, and my cup overflows with joy for the understanding you have.
“I would that you should consider events that shall shortly come to pass, before your children have left your home, that you might be pondering even now the things you must do.”
And Lazarus was startled, saying, “But I have neither children nor a wife.”
Yeshua answered with an all-knowing smile, “I speak of things that will soon be, my brother. In the days to come, many shall join unto us, and they shall be Children of Light, united together to manifest the Celestine Light of Elohim and uplift and magnify one another.
And the Children of Light shall gather unto the body of the Celestine Light and shall grow mighty among the children of men, despite all that the Romans and the priests of the world may do.
Like the fresh breath of spring that turns barrenness into green where the rains fall, so shall the family of the Children of Light turn the darkness of the world to the light of truth and virtue wherever they dwell.
It is given unto you to be a pinnacle among them and gather them into Communities of Light within the body of Celestine Light, that they may support and edify each other and have wholeness and wellness in all areas of their lives, as they walk the path of truth amidst the world of darkness.
Therefore, whenever one who has been in darkness finds the light, let them not live separated from their brothers and sisters, but let them join into a Community of Light of their choice that also chooses them.
And let all who join into a Community of Light be bound by a covenant to live the Twelve Commandments and to follow the laws of health as revealed by God to the Children of Light; and may all visitors who pass through the gates adhere to the same obligations while they are within the boundaries of the community.
And let the community be as one extended family: that all Children of Light are brothers and sisters and desire to support and encourage the spiritual and temporal well-being of all others, according to their ability and as they are called upon by the Elders of the community.
And let the Elders be leaders from among those longest in the community, given to be responsible for overseeing all of the temporal needs of the community and the assignments of duties to each member, and may all that is given be fair and just.
And may the Elders be eleven in number, with three or four chosen every year by a majority of the adult members of the community who have taken the covenants and lived in the community for at least one year.
If a majority of the covenant members desire it, they may ask those whose time of service is finished to serve another term, which the Elder may do, if they are not called by family duties and continue to have an abiding heart for the responsibility.
Let the Elders serve without salary or wages but only with recompense for their reasonable expenses.
Upon the formation of each community, let all of the founders come together and agree upon the enterprise in which the community will labor. And after one enterprise proves successful, may others come forth as the Members of the Covenant desire and the Elders direct that the Children of Light may prosper and have abundance on the land.
And let the enterprises be endeavors that are pleasing unto God and beneficial to other Communities of Light in places near and far, wherein each may give to the others and so provide for many of the temporal needs of the members.
Therefore, let there be communities of the bees, and of the orchards, and of the weavers, and of the gardens, and of the fields of grain, and of the mills, and of the dairies, and of the fish, and of the builders, and of the crystals, and of many other common pursuits that will help the community to prosper on the land and give abundance to the members and help them to bond to one another in their labors and goals.
Let each member give equally of their time for the benefit of the community according to their skills and abilities.
Upon the winter solstice, let the increase gained from the community enterprises beyond what is needed for the coming year to insure continued growth and vigor and security against misfortune be divided in equal shares by each adult covenant member who labored equally in the enterprises from the beginning of the year. And let each child of those covenant members also receive a portion according to the contribution of their time and abilities of their age.
And let not the talents of one be counted as greater than the talents of another, but allow all to contribute whatever their talent may be, as the Elders discern, and in equality and with fairness according to the time that is given.
And let none be asked to give so many hours to the community that they do not have sufficient time to earn their livelihood, give bountiful love and nurturing to their family, and have private time for introspection and relaxation.
And let the Children of Light gather each day to share the main meal as a community, with each person, both male and female, adult and child, giving of their time in equality and fairness to accomplish the meal.
When the community grows beyond the size for all the families to sit at a single meal, divide into neighborhoods that one meal each day may still be shared with those closest to their home.
On the winter and summer solstice, let the community gather with a feast meal across all the neighborhoods and a day of uplifting communion among the Members of the Covenant that the hearts of the Family of Light will remain together.
Upon the spring and fall equinox, let there be a gathering of the entire community and a Jubilee celebration with three days of feasts and music, with words of wisdom from those whom God has called, that the hearts of the Children of Light will be bound one to another, with eyes single to the glory of God.
And let all in the community be good stewards of the Earth and of the animals upon it and value all life and take only what is needed, according to the commandments of Elohim.
And let the body of Celestine Light own all of the land and all rights to the water and the resources of the land, but let small parcels for private homes be leased to resident Members of the Covenant, as the Elders of the community deem right, with all other common lands and buildings and equipment within the community held in trust by the body of Celestine Light for all the current community Members of the Covenant to be administered by the community Elders as they deem right.
And let the community strive toward self-sufficiency in all areas as reasonable, especially for food, education, health, and labor of livelihood.
And let those with expertise in commerce locate their personal enterprise within the community that other members may find a worthy place in which to labor.
And let each member of the community and each place of work in the community, which hires laborers, tithe one tenth of their income before all other expenses and more if the Elders deem necessary, and a majority of the covenant members agree, or if a member so desires, to maintain and prosper the community. And let this be done with individual honesty and anonymity and by no other means.
And let education be of great importance so much so that every member, both young and old, seeks to often be engaged in formal instruction of a new skill or greater knowledge, and let the community provide places and foundations for the continual education of the members and their children.
And let artistic pursuits be encouraged for all members and community craft houses built, wherein each member may learn new talents and expand their abilities as their desires lead them.
And let the care of the temple of the body be taught to all, that everyone may have health and vigor for all of their years as they follow the precepts given by Elohim.
And suffer not the divisive to be among you, but put them out of the community if they will not quickly repent, ask forgiveness, and be divisive no more.
And let there be no weapons of death kept by any in the community or allowed to any visitors, but maintained only in a community vault of security for times of common defense for use only after every method of honorable peace has failed.
And suffer not the violent, either by force of voice or body, to remain among you, if they will not quickly repent, ask forgiveness, make restitution, and be violent no more.
And teach everyone to cultivate balance in all things with forbearance and compassion.
In all that you say and do, remember that you are a peculiar people whom God has called out of darkness into a marvelous light. Show forth the brightness of your soul, the sweetness of your spirit, and the industry of your abilities, that the world may see the harmony and abundance of the men and women and children of the Communities of Celestine Light and wonder what marvel God has wrought.”
Lazarus soaked in the warm words of Yeshua and affirmed that when the time came to fulfill that which Yeshua had spoken, he would be a rock upon which the foundation of the Communities of Light could be built, even as Yeshua had given.
