The Importance of DreamsCHAPTER 74
Yeshua speaks about the importance of dreams and how to attain the
proper dream state, explaining that it is through our dreams
that we commune most directly with Elohim.
1
The following day, Yeshua asked his Apostles to again meet with him on
the hills nearby to the west of Capernaum, and there he taught them once
more.
2
After a prayer said by Yudas Iscariot, Yeshua greeted his Apostles by
asking, “How were your dreams last night?”
3
“I cannot remember my dreams,” answered Toma.
4
“I dreamed of my former life
causing people misery by collecting taxes,” Mattayah answered solemnly.
“I felt guilty even in my dream, but could not change the story that was
unfolding.”
5
“For me,” said Cephas, “I dreamt of catching so many fish that our boat
burst apart and sank, returning to port, and we ended up losing
everything, both the fish and the boat.”
6
“My dream made me apprehensive,”
stated Yudas Iscariot; “especially as I have seen this same dream
before. I saw all of us standing with Yeshua at the edge of an enormous
cliff; so big it was that the bottom could not be seen. Yeshua was
asking for a volunteer to leap off into the abyss, and none of us seemed
so inclined.”
7
“I also cannot remember my dreams, except on rare occasions, and
remember nothing from last night,” said Yohhanan. “And with dreams like
Cephas’ and Yudas’, it is probably for the best.”
8
“Nor can I remember mine,” added Shim’on, “except for vague feelings and
wisps of memories that I cannot bring into fullness.”
9
“I was exploring a city in a far-off land,” answered Philip. “The people
were darker skinned, and some of the buildings were wondrous in design.
It was a fulfilling dream because I was able to change what I saw. It
was as if part of my awake awareness was inside my dream. For instance,
I would come to a fork in the road, and instead of merely watching which
road I took in the dream, a part of my waking self was able to help make
the decision to go to the right. The dream seemed very real. I do not
have dreams like this often, but I take great joy in them when I do.”
10
“My dream was of our brothers and sisters in the community,” offered
Yeshua’s brother Yakov. “But there was something different about the
community and the people that I cannot remember now that I am awake.”
11
“An old man with a long white beard and a goat came to me in my dream,”
said Yuda, son of Cleophas.
12
“And . . . what?” asked his brother Ya’akov.
13
Yuda shrugged and answered, saying, “And I know not what. That is all I
remember.”
14
“Well, I am not much better,” Ya’akov said consolingly. “There were
three maidens in my dream, and my wife was not one of them. They were
beckoning me. But to what they were beckoning me, I either did not
discover or cannot remember.”
15
“I saw great battles, and many
people slain,” stated Amram sadly. “I saw blood and slaughter all around
me. I spoke to those fighting; trying to get them to stop, but it was as
if they could not hear me.”
16
All of the Apostles had spoken now of their dreams, save for Miriam, and
Cephas looked at her and prompted her, asking, “What of your dreams,
Miriam? Are they much different than the dreams of men?”
17
Miriam sighed and answered, saying, “Sometimes, my dreams are very
different than those of men. Sometimes, they are simply things of a
woman’s world that men know little of. But I also see things such as all
of you have spoken about. And also strange things that none of you have
spoken of.
18
Last night, I saw something like the flood of Noah. The rain came day
upon day, and the waters rose. We along with our brothers and sisters of
the communities and all the people of Palestine were each day moving to
higher ground, climbing higher upon the mountains to avoid the rising
waters. I went to the top of the tallest mountain and called to our
Father and Mother in Heaven for help. A voice came from the clouds, the
sweet voice of our Mother, and she said to build boats and leave the
world.”
19
“What do you understand by that dream?” asked Philip. “How can you leave
the world?”
20
“I know not,” answered Miriam. “But I suspect that it is a warning of
calamities to come and a means of salvation, which I do not yet
comprehend.”
21
Yeshua nodded his head in approval and said unto them, “We have spoken
before about the importance of dreams, and last night, there was a
diverse variety among you.
22
Yet it would seem that none of you have fully understood the essential
nature and opportunity that dreams present to you each night, nor the
potential for harm, and it is for this cause that I speak to you again.
23
Dreams serve many purposes, but there are only a few that I wish to
emphasize today.
24
The world in which man dwells and the world in which the Elohim dwell
are like the land and the sea from the perspective of a tortoise.
25
The tortoise is a creature of the land. He can look upon the sea, but he
cannot go there lest he would perish, even as man can look to our Father
and Mother in the heavens but cannot go there to be with them while they
are still in the flesh.
26
But it is possible for the tortoise to go to the edge of the sea and
walk into it for just a bit so that its feet still firmly touch the land
beneath, while its body is immersed in the waters of the sea. Thus it is
at one moment, both on the land and in the sea.
27
So it is with your dreams. It is a hallowed time when you remain still
in the flesh, but can also touch a part of Heaven and commune directly
with our Father and Mother and the angels of Heaven.
28
For those like each of you, who seek the purity of the Celestine Light,
this is something you are already doing each and every time you sleep,
even though you may remember it not.
29
Dream time is a time when a part of your spirit is freed from the bonds
of your body and this world and can visit and commune with all other
worlds, and other spirits wherever they may be, as well as travel and
explore the world in which you live in ways your physical body never
can.
30
But this is also a time of great vulnerability for the unprepared. For
even as a part of your spirit can commune directly with the Celestine
Realm while you sleep, so too can your spirit visit other worlds while
you dream and interact with the spirits of those dwelling there.
31
But even as your spirit of the night can travel far and wide to places
beyond the understanding of your day spirit, so too can spirits of those
from other worlds and from living people in this world also come to you
in your dreams while you sleep and interact with and influence the part
of your spirit that remains grounded in this world, even those that
would lead you to darkness and away from the Celestine Light.
31
Therefore, it is greatly important that you set your intentions before
you pass into sleep and not just thoughtlessly fall into your dreams.
32
In your nightly prayer with our Father and Mother in Heaven, ask to be
shielded from all evil while you sleep and be led only upon dream paths
that will uplift and inspire you and reveal greater light and
understanding. Ask no less for the night than you do for the hours when
you are awake.
33
Thus, you will be protected from that which would do you harm and open
to receive a fullness of Celestine Light from Heaven, both that which
you ask for and that which is brought to you as a gift.
34
When you seek an answer to a question, small or great, concerning
matters either temporal or spiritual, ask in your nightly prayers to be
shown the solution in your dreams, and so it shall be given unto you.
35
Even if you do not recall your dreams, a part of your spirit of the day
will remember the essence of what your spirit of the night learned and
will be pulled into a resonance with it while you are awake.
36
But for the Children of Light, it is very beneficial if their spirit of
the day remembers the travels of their spirit of the night.
37
This is even more important for you, my Apostles, as your dreams are the
time when you can touch the realms of Celestine Light and receive pure
answers for your questions, learn more of your gifts and powers, and
gain divine inspiration for your family and your personal growth.
38
Most importantly, it is a time to receive heavenly messengers, to hear
the guidance of Elohim and see great visions of things that are to come
that you might be prepared to prosper and not perish.
39
Your dream time, when your spirit of the night visits the Celestine
Realms, is also your divine school of knowledge where you may learn and
practice the mysteries of all things.
40
Each day, I teach you how to use your gifts and develop them into powers
that can benefit the Children of Light and the world. But your learning
needs not end with our times together, for each moment that you sleep,
you can receive further instruction from the angels on high in your
dreams.
41
In your travels of the night, you can observe others using their gifts
that you might be more prepared to use yours. And you can practice using
your powers in places where a mistake causes no pain or damage, but
merely becomes an opportunity to learn how to become successful.
42
All of this and much more is available to you as you remember more and
more of your dreams. For this cause, I am going to give to you the
formulas for three potions which should be taken just before retiring to
sleep in the night to help the spirit of the day to remember the dreams
of the night.
43
These can cause no harm, only good. No greater insight or memory is
gained by taking greater amounts, so do not overindulge lest you
overexcite your body and lose the good you could have gained.
44
The first is to be given only to those who are new to the Communities of
Light and are not yet fully versed and in harmony with the ways of the
light. This potion will allow them to recall much more of their dreams
than they have in the past and accelerate their learning and harmony.
45
The second is to be given only to the sages among the Children of Light.
It will allow them to clearly remember essential parts of their dreams
with an immediate understanding upon awakening of the meaning of their
travels of the night.
46
The third is only to be taken by Adepts, for it will bring everything of
the other two potions, plus, will bring their night spirit quickly and
directly to the Celestine Realms from which they will be given
prophecies, secrets, and mysteries to protect and bless the Children of
Light and the world upon which you live.
47
Now if your spirit of the day were always in total recall of the
adventures of your spirit of the night, you would become very haggard in
appearance, because the time you most easily remember dreams is the time
when you are not yet into a deep sleep or are just awakening out of one.
48
Therefore, it would only be by failing to have a sound sleep that you
would be able to remember everything you dreamed in the night. While
remembering essential parts of your dreams is important, so is a long
and sound sleep that your body will wake refreshed and with renewed
vigor for the day that dawns.
49
For this cause, when you seek something of great importance, a prophecy
or clear guidance, do not seek it in the night, but take your potion and
sleep for two hours during the day while the Sun is still in the sky. By
resting in this manner at a time you are normally active, you will
usually not fall into as deep of a sleep as you do in the long and
accustomed hours of the night.
50
By sleeping lightly at this time, you will remember much more, even all
of your dreams, especially if you set that as your intention before you
nap.
51
Lastly, I would encourage you to share dreams you feel are important
with one another, not in passing conversation, but after a joint prayer
of intention to clearly understand the meaning of the dream.
52
This is most important if you feel you have received a prophecy or
direction from Elohim for something greater than your own life, for
others, be they a wife or a community, should not be asked to follow
blindly, but only after they have prayerfully considered the matter and
come to the same conclusion.”
53
When Yeshua was finished speaking, he gave his Apostles the formulas for
the dream potions and admonished them to commit them to memory.
54
Then one by one, he gave each of
the Apostles an interpretation of the dreams they had received the
previous night. And this he did even for those who could not remember
that which they had dreamed.
55
When he was finished, he spoke once more of the importance of dreams,
saying, “As Children of Light and Apostles, you know you have been given
great gifts that can blossom into mighty powers. But these powers are to
be kept hidden unto you and are only for the Children of Light.
56
Verily, save for the healing of the sick, the people of the world are
not prepared for that which has been given to you and would be more apt
to be burned by the fire rather than benefited were they to see it.”
57
Yeshua smiled and gave a chuckle, adding, “And fearful of the unknown
and unexplainable, they might wish to burn you in the fire if they were
to witness even a small part of the gifts you have been given.
58
So it is even with your dreams. These are not things to share with the
people of the world, save for prophecies Elohim gives unto the twelve to
be spoken by them.
59
Your dreams are for you and your stewardships. They are not something
the people of the world can comprehend, and to speak of them among them
would be foolishly casting your pearls before those who understood not
their value.
60
Even among the Children of Light, in both gifts and dreams, let them
show themselves capable of holding the lesser gifts before you reveal
unto them the greater gifts.
61
But teach the importance of dreams as a foundation of all gifts, both
the small and the great, for it is through dreams that man communes most
directly with God, and by this means, the small may become great.”
